Our events raise funds for music therapy, instruments, and transformative growth for children nationwide. 9th Annual Connect (X) Concert: A Powerful Evening for Charity
Kicking off the 2025 Connect (X) conference in Chicago was both an honor and a blast! The night was absolutely unforgettable, with Harmful Interference setting the tone and Uncle Kracker rocking the stage at the iconic House of Blues.
The energy in the room was electric as we came together in support of a cause that unites us all. We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with the WIA team—your dedication and collaboration always plays a vital role in the success of this event, and we’re so thankful to have you by our side.

Music Movement Family Highlights
We’re celebrating two incredible young people in our community this summer! Reagan Hankwitz, part of our Music Movement family for over 8 years, recently competed in a multi-state swim meet—placing 20th overall and 1st among South Carolina boys in his age group! He continues to thrive on his musical journey with guitar in hand!
Meanwhile, William Jennings, a former grant recipient, recently graduated from community college and is auditioning for UNC School of the Arts. He now plays seven instruments and was recently awarded a grant through our Adult Living Initiative. Music therapy has played a meaningful role in building the confidence and independence that continues to guide their journeys. Bravo, Reagan and William – we couldn’t be more proud!
